We Love Durham - well of course we do. Why would anyone live in a place they did not love?

Durham Bulls - AAA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. You can't beat fun at the ballpark.

Tyler's Taproom at American Tobacco - my favorite watering hole.

Four Square Restaurant - Durham's finest restaurant in my opinion.

305 South Durham - Durham's anti-mall featuring Jigsaw Comics, HaHa Shoes, The Electric Blender, Buzzed Coffee, and entertainment.

Scott Riggs Racing - #10 on the Nextel circuit, Scott is from Bahama.

Measurement, Inc. - This company has done a lot for the Durham community, and they do it quietly.

Durham Farmer's Market - great local fresh food and goods. Each Saturday morning is a social event here.

Arts Can Heal - Ruth Hamilton who also founded Carolina Ha Ha, specializes in healing through art. This is a wonderful innovative therapy technique.

Carolina Ha Ha - I volunteer as webmaster for this great organization that promotes health through humor.

Kids Voting Durham - I created this website and think this is a great civic organization.

Urban Ministries of Durham - this homeless shelter and kitchen does a lot to help Durham. I'm proud to volunteer as a board member.

Junior Leadership Durham - I was involved in the start up of this all volunteer organization and served on the board. It's a great idea if I can say so myself.

Volunteer Center of Durham - I worked here for several years. If you want to get involved, this is the place to start.

Downtown Durham Inc. - If you're wondering why the renaissance is happening downtown, look no further than this group. Bill Kalkhof makes things happen.

Helpful Google Maps API sites

Google Maps API Tutorial - this was the most helpful resource for programming this site.

eLodging Bristol - this is a nice application allowing users to filter markers on the map.

Icon Creator - When you add sites to your favorites, some show different icons other than the standard Internet Explorer one. This is a free resource to convert any image into one of those icons.

Google Maps API - this is the official Google site. It actually wasn't all that helpful.
